LACKS store on the vibrant SW Military Drive was chosen and was acquired in 2010. Alternative uses for the site were evaluated and additional adjacent land was added to provide sufficient parking areas for this large 47,500SFt building. Plans to convert this facility into an energy efficient multi use facility were put in place in 2013.

Unique

This large, complex building project required the services of many professionals trained in specialist disciplines, that was coordinated by an architect. A team of local architectural, engineering and technical professionals came together under Building Scope Services

INTEGRATE

“Design–Build” project delivery system is used in this facility to reduce the delivery schedule by overlapping the design phase and construction phase of the project. Integrating the need of the multi tenant to achieve an energy efficient building is lead by the owners.

Response

Responsible and experienced facilities management will run the day to day operation of the building. Due to the immediacy of the "soft" and "hard" response required in many of the activities involved, it will be managed by the facilities management "help desk" that tenants will be able to contact in person or by telephone or email.

What We Do

We develop and manage property primarily in the growing area of South San Antonio that has brought thousands of jobs that the Toyota Plant and Eagle-Ford Shale exploration has created. There is also a flurry of retail construction happening on SW Military Drive. Hundreds of more new residences are planned for development in the area.
